I had a friend visit the layout back in February and he mentioned an artist in Indonesia that was selling premium scale figures in 1/87 scale. These are 3-D printed and each one is custom painted. Avg price is $8-$12 but the quality is well worth it. I don’t think I’ve seen any better in HO Scale. Turn around time is roughly 6-8 weeks from the time of order, but the extra patience is well worth it. Here’s some photos and a link to his eBay page, which is where he sells his figures.
