A recent addition to the layout are these Conrail MOW camp cars made by Rapido Trains. They are exquisitely detailed and the camp cars all individual loads that can be interchanged as needed. I have 5 of these along with four of the flat cars with rails on them. I’m currently working on building several MOW vehicles that will be added to the flats in the future. Below are some photos, plus a video showing them run. I picked up the Conrail versions, Norfolk Southern is also available from Rapido. They are also selling individual camp cars for the kitchen, dinning, and offices. Only the sleeper cars come with the required flat. I went with three sleepers, the kitchen and dining cars for my short work train.

Hobby shops are selling these like hot cakes on a crisp Sunday morning. Get them while you can if you’re interested.
