An HO Scale layout loosely based on the Chicago Line running from Cleveland, Ohio westward to the OH/IN state line.
Below are some more freight cars that I have done since January 2025. Since I model the cross over period when the FRA conspicuity stripes were just starting to show up, not all of the cars will have them added. The graffiti tags are done from decals and and some are hand painted. The weathering process takes anywhere from 3-10+ hours per car. One of these days I’ll do a detailed blog post showing my process.

My home layout hosts Norfolk Southern operations from the late 2000’s up until today. The HO Scale layout is loosely based on the former Conrail Chicago mainline between Cleveland and Chicago. Upwards of 100 trains a day operate on this double main.
Occasionally, I’ll run trains from the late 1970’s as Conrail was beginning it’s journey of incorporating all of the bankrupt rail lines into the lean, profitable operation it became before being split between CSX and Norfolk Southern on June 1, 1999
